Eating Creatively Boosts Writing Creatively!

Eating Creatively Boosts Writing Creatively!

Want to boost your creativity? There is a strong connection in how we can boost creativity by healthy eating. So often we talk about all the factors that increase our creativity in writing, art, creative projects, and more. We mention writing spaces, mood, inspiring photos and candles, nature walks, fresh air and more. But not too often do we talk about food + writing.

Food is one of the best ways to boost your creativity. We hear about brain boosting and memory boosting food, but these are also foods that boost our creative juices. Therefore, we can easily turn things like baked salmon and avocado into brain fuel, and turn fruits and veggies into creative wellbeing.

Boosting brain, memory, and creativity!

What are some of your your favourite foods for boosting brain, memory and creativity? Thinking creatively takes a lot of brain power, and the more we feed that brain well, the better. I have been in many food and meal discussions over years, with friends, through meal plans, with nutritionists and across websites. Always focusing on body weight, metabolism, physical health, heart health, and more. These are all incredibly important, but somehow, creative and writing health seems to be my best motivator. How about you?

Starting 2021 off right!

So this year, I am starting my New Year 2021 with more mixed greens, superfood berries, proteins and more. And also, making it taste delicious. My lunch today before an afternoon of writing is mixed greens with raspberries, sunflower seeds, feta and garlic/mango dressing. I enjoyed this salad alongside sweet chili thai chicken. ?

Other creativity food boosters include fatty fishes, blueberries, broccoli, mixed nuts, dark chocolate, and healthy fats such as avocado.

And, if you leave out the heavy carbs, and you won’t get sleepy while reading, writing, and creating.

Happy New Years folks! I hope you find ways to be as creative in your eating as you do in your writing. One will fuel the other for sure.

What are your favourites?

Thanks for following along. I’d love to hear about your favourite creativity boosters and superfoods in the comments below. Let’s inspire one another to boost creativity by healthy eating. I am always inspired by you–my village and look forward to what you share with me and each other. Thank you. ?
